This is the original Marius©® pullover. This classic knitting pattern dates back to the 50's and has presumably been hand knitted more than 5 million times since its launch. Our version is of course in 100% merino wool.

Ugly has had the pleasure of working with the iconic Marius pattern since 2008, and hold the exclusive rights to use the pattern on children´s clothing through commercial rights owner Lillunn Design of Norway. The Marius pattern is norways most knitted pattern throughout history. It is assumed that more than 5 million Marius sweaters have been knitted since the early days of the pattern back in the 1950´s. In 2011 Ugly recieved the Annual Award for Design Excellence given by the Norwegian design council for our Marius collection in fine Merino wool - something we are very proud of.
